Bardicsidhe - Ewan McGregor
Title: The Lightning Connection
Fandom: [info]domino_effect
Genre: Gen-fic, Tristan first-person POV (unusual for me)
Rating: PG for language
Summary: Another issue in the ponyverse series. On another routine mission, Tristan gets himself fucking lost in west central Illinois, and runs into an unusual personality over the saddle of his Harley. Yes, Harley. Read it, I tell you.
Disclaimer: I don't profess to own YGO or any of these characters except the redhead, and the title of the Mazda is in my name. All of the personalities/histories here are property of their own players.
Author's Note: I was stressed out last night. Joey-mun suggested that I go spend some time talking to Tristan or Honda. And so this afternoon I did. [info]sorchafyre, [info]raindop_jewel, and [info]nightengale, please don't kill me if I didn't characterize your boys properly. *wags in apology beforehand*

We met at a truck stop, Johnson City, Tennessee.
I was gassin’ up my Viper, when I heard her callin’ me.
'Said, “Which way are you headed, boy? Do you need some company?”

--"Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde," performed by Travis Tritt

She didn’t look like my kind of trouble. I like men with good shoulders and women with good curves, and neither one was going for her. She had an ass that looked good in blue jean shorts – and like me, she knew it. Wasn’t playing up her good parts (except for those shorts) but you knew she knew it.

I can respect a girl like that.
